Infosys Resume Format for Freshers (Campus & Off-Campus)
What Infosys screeners look for on a fresher resume — section order, project bullets, skill keywords, and formatting that survives ATS for Systems Engineer / DSE roles.
Infosys resumes fail more often from messy layout and vague projects than from missing ‘fancy’ skills. One page, clear sections, and evidence under every tech keyword.
Recommended section order
For campus / InfyTQ / HackWithInfy pathway roles, use: Header → Summary (3 lines max) → Skills → Projects → Education → Internships/Experience → Certifications → Achievements. Skip photo, DOB, marital status, and full address — city + email + phone + LinkedIn is enough.
- Header: Name, role target (e.g. Systems Engineer / Full Stack Fresher), city, phone, email
- Summary: degree + strongest stack + one outcome (hackathon, deploy, internship)
- Skills: languages, frameworks, databases, tools — grouped, not a word cloud
Project bullets that pass Infosys screening
Write 3–4 bullets per project: problem → what you built → tech → measurable or concrete result. ‘Worked on frontend’ is weak. ‘Built React checkout with Razorpay; cut form abandonment in testing by validating pincode + UPI states’ is interview-ready.
If two teammates shared a project, own a clear slice: API layer, auth, schema, or UI module — interviewers ask ‘what was your part?’
Keywords Infosys JDs commonly use
Mirror language from the actual JD you are applying to. Typical fresher sheets mention Java / Python, SQL, OOPs, data structures, SDLC, Agile, Git, REST APIs, cloud basics (AWS/Azure), and communication. Only list what you can defend in a 10-minute screen.
Formatting rules that matter
Single column PDF, standard fonts, no icons-as-skills, no text inside images. Dates as Mon YYYY – Mon YYYY. CGPA or percentage once under Education. Keep it to 1 page for fresher; 2 only if you have real internships and production projects.
How Apply helps
Upload your current resume, paste an Infosys JD, and generate an ATS-cleaner version that keeps your real projects. Then open Interview prep to practise puzzle + technical + project rounds against that same resume.
